Jordan’s first foray into writing fiction was a third grade English assignment. That tale is lost to the ages now, but even at eight years old she used slang in her dialogue…enough so that classmate Elliott couldn’t read the story with the appropriate ease and style which she deemed appropriate.
Her next was a high school English assignment. (This one, at least, is still available for perusal.)
As a young adult, Jordan discovered Star Trek fan fiction. Her mediocre attempts morphed into disaster as she flirted with writing ‘real’ books. She eventually gave up that field in favor of the fine arts, namely speculative fiction paintings and drawings.
Then came Xena: Warrior Princess, and Jordan found a home, first penning a Xena/Highlander crossover called ‘Only One.’ Multiple stories soon followed, and in 2001, she published her first book – ‘Tiopa Ki Lakota’ with Fortitude Press.
Since then, she’s published fifteen titles, most with Bella Books.
Jordan continues writing lesbian romance, many with a speculative fiction flavor. She’s livin’ la vida geek in Oregon with her wife of three plus decades and a handful of cats, all of whom keep her on her toes.
